I was into one of the BNI networking event and I am glad that I attended it. Wonderful people, great ambience and networking with like minded people (and probably unlike-minded too).
Other than being a part of this elite group of people, I had few take aways from people as well as key speaker of the day, Deepak Goel who spoke awesome on global networking and ROI.
Few of them are:
[sws_ul_ui indent=”16″ ui_theme=”start”][sws_ul_ui_item item_indent=”15″ position=”outside” icon=”ui-icon-check”] Ignorance is the key… Best would be to figure it out yourself and implement this in your way.[/sws_ul_ui_item] [/sws_ul_ui] [sws_ul_ui indent=”16″ ui_theme=”start”][sws_ul_ui_item item_indent=”15″ position=”outside” icon=”ui-icon-check”] Build relationships, not networks. Relationships are a long term investment with an unexpectedly huge ROI.[/sws_ul_ui_item] [/sws_ul_ui] [sws_ul_ui indent=”16″ ui_theme=”start”][sws_ul_ui_item item_indent=”15″ position=”outside” icon=”ui-icon-check”] Connect with people first. It’s worth knowing people, let them know you, worth sharing and be your good word of mouth marketing than go selling and hunting yourself. [/sws_ul_ui_item] [/sws_ul_ui]

I regret that why didn’t I start getting social before but I am happy I wasn’t too late. Doing it NOW is always better than doing it tomorrow or… never.

Looking forward to few more social events like this next week.

How you’re finding networking, how do you network and what are some of your special take aways. I’d be more than happy to hear. Sharing is caring…
