I missed the Father’s day on June 18th but the respect, wishes and Goodwill is always safe in heart for my loving Daddy. Delayed and belated but wish you a very happy Father’s day, Daddy. You’re the best Dad :)

I won’t say you’re my ideal but you’re definitely my inspiration for strength when there are tough times, kindness for needy people, Goodwill for everybody who is good at heart, and dedicated to profession. Thank you for everything you gave me and Thank God for blessing me with such a wonderful Daddy.

You did a lot for all of us and favored me all the times when I needed you. Even when everybody was against, you were at my side (even if you didn’t want :D ). You took care of your daughter, now it’s my turn. Enjoy your age and live it to the fullest. I’d make sure I give you every bit of happiness, comfort and all the love to see that ever comforting smile on your face.

Love you Daddy

God bless you and Mummy always

Feeling sick with Hostgator services with frequent downgrades (their so called server upgrades) and database errors. Their service quality has gone to the lowest levels leading to a huge base of disappointed customers who have started moving their hosting to some other. I thought I was one of the unfortunate people who were suffering but a quick hostgator poor service search gave me good Google results.

Above all, the technical support is clueless and have no exact time for the resolution. Now that was ridiculous and frustrating. Either I have to move my sites to some other better hosting provider or… I will move my sites to another hosting provider ONLY.

Any good suggestions on a reliable hosting provider?

A potential customer would consider 3 things to throw a solid deal and $$$$ to you

  1. Subject Knowledge
  2. Positive Popularity
  3. Genuine Pricing

If you miss any of the above, you’re close to lose a good customer. Now, my experience says, forums are a wonderful platform if you have just launched your SEO Services or company and looking for log term deals. This post may not be very suitable to established SEO companies as they’ve gained enough reputation already.

Let’s see how webmaster forums can push your business to a better and more profitable level.

Subject knowledge - You know that you hold a great SEO knowledge and practical experience… But others don’t know. Let the potential community know about your SEO strengths by sharing your thoughts, tips, experience and success stories on forums. Webmaster forums are full of good clients. Some may be looking for low budget SEO campaigns and some may want to switch to more result oriented companies for their ongoing website plans. Contributing to popular webmaster forums help you gain the trust, reliability and brand popularity.

Just make sure you don’t sign up only to add fluff in every thread even it is answered already. Contribute wisely and smartly. Read well to answer well.

You can also start selling your services at promotional rates to grab some great reviews. I earned one of my most paying clients from one such forum only 3 years ago, and he referred me to 2 other high paying regular customers. What a Win!

Positive Popularity - Adding a simple signature helps you get known. Be prompt in replying to any questions, inquiry or doubt. This will give you an extra edge. You can lock 40% of your conversion success by being quick in response. Late response may not always show you’re busy, it may also give an impression you don’t know the answer or probably researching for one.

Agree and add to good replies and thoughts on threads. It’d get you attention from SEO experts whom you agree to. And they may want to tie up a good business relationship with you (outsourcing, reselling)

Genuine Pricing - Even if you’re a growing SEO company, pricing is very important. Most of the clients compare the pricing vs results. Try to set competitive prices with a good result guarantee. here we’re not talking about #1 or page 1 guarantee. But ensure high quality links and content guarantee on your website. If you’ve shared a good thought on some thread, you may be followed via your signature links or website. Be sure you have a good looking, easy to navigate and professional web image before you start promoting yourself. If you lose a customer once, you almost lost him forever.

There are many other great opportunities Forums may give you like business networking, backlinks, sales etc.. Just grab them as you find them.

Some of my favorite forums are

Among paid forums, my preferences are SEOBook & SEOmoz

Hope this post helps you. Feel free to share your thoughts and drop a comment here.
