Hello, I am Sunita
I Build Businesses. And I Help Business Owners Build Better Ones.
I am a business mentor, entrepreneur, and speaker with over 20 years of lived experience. I work with business owners who have built something of their own and now want to make it stronger, more profitable and more sustainable.
My work is rarely about giving people more things to do. It is about helping them understand their business better, make better decisions and build something that can work well for a long time, independently.
This page will tell you more about who I am, what has shaped the way I think, and why I do the work I do today.
I Didn't Start Out as a Business Coach.
My journey had its own shares of unexpected twists and turns.
I have a Master’s degree in Biotechnology. I spent a significant part of my early life preparing for the Civil Services. I eventually moved into the digital industry when it was still at its baby stage and very different from what it is today.
I made digital my professional choice when life was still mostly offline and social media did not exist in the way we know it today.
Over these 22 years, I worked across different areas of digital, built businesses, worked with hundreds of business owners and watched the internet and industry evolve.
Eventually, I realized that it was never the websites or strategies that I enjoyed.
It was understanding the reason behind them. I was operating from my primal habit of problem solving and simplifying everything. I know today, why I loved auditing and coming with simple practical plans.
Why is this business not growing? Why isn’t the marketing working? Why does someone have expertise but not able to communicate the value?
Those questions eventually became the foundation of the work I do today.
Internet & technology is available to everyone. How one uses these two resources makes all the difference to one's business & brand today.

I Have Seen Business From Two Very Different Sides.
I have built a thriving coaching and mentoring business where expertise, trust and reputation are the business.
And I have co-built Unusual Digital, an agency business where people, delivery, processes, clients, margins and systems determine whether the business actually works.
Building the coaching business taught me how to build around intellectual capital, and the agency business made me build and expand beyond the founder.
Over the years, I could myself becoming a sharper business mentor with strong lived experience.
And Then There Is Life Outside Business.
I love my work. But that’s not my entire life.
I enjoy travelling solo as well as with my husband and business partner Aditya Shrivastava. I love latin dancing, deep conversations, and sometimes doing things that have absolutely nothing to do with productivity.
In this phase of life, I am drawn to simpler way of living realizing that I want to be more present for the things that matter.
Interestingly, it has started to shape the kind of businesses I am building and helping others build with my newly launched, The Minimal Marketing Method.
I am grateful and fortunate to have build a life and business with more choices, more freedom and more control over time.
