This is a common meme I noticed floating on social media after the 2020 global lockdown due to covid 19. And each one made me smile and ignore. It was ironic and sad at the same time. Until a few people contacted me to write if something can actually make money in such times.
Yes, certainly, anyone can still earn in a lockdown situation.
A lot of businesses are still unaffected and in fact, growing in these times. A lot of people has started working from home.
Whether we accept or not, one thing that can sell from home without going out is – INFORMATION.
The world is going digital and anyone who learns the art of creating, curating, presenting and selling USEFUL and PRACTICAL INFORMATION will win independently of any crisis.
Back to the main agenda of this post, let’s see how one can make money from home or as you all asked – in lockdown.

💥 1. Sell information
If you’re a consultant, coach, counselor, it can come truly easy for you. This is the time when people have accepted online consulting (be it by choice or force), create plans. programs, courses, or even offer sessions where you can help them with your services. Since it is getting too overwhelming these days, plan and create your online offering and launch when there is some space after a while.
If you are a service provider, offer to solve a real life problem. See what people NEED.
💥 2. Start a Blog
If you’re none of the above mentioned, still you can share and sell information as a blogger. This is by far one of the best work from home jobs.
I have never seen my niche blogs getting this much traffic and making money so far.
Blogging will never make you instant money. In fact, nothing makes you instant money. But if you start now, you will be safe forever after 6-9 months making $500 per month to start with. To get the basic idea of blogging and how it works, read these 4 posts.

💥 3. Online Tutions/Classes
Another way of making money with home based jobs is online tutions. If you have any skill whether it is teaching a subject to kids or adults, a language, cooking, homemaking and decor, whatever it is, if you can offer tutions, you have an unlimited potential of making money.
💥 4. Sell Recycled Stuff
Many of you might have decluttered your house and could have found many things, clothes that you don’t need anymore, these are in good condition and you can sell it. This could be a small money but still money. I love money whether it small or big.
You can even recycle old stuff, fix it, make it look cool and sell.
Use apps like Wish, Elanic, OLX, Etsy or Facebook group. Make deals and courier stuff when the lockdown is lifted.
💥 5. Take surveys
It’s very small money but if you have a lot of time in hand these days, why not do it. Survey Junkie, Swagbucks, Inbox Dollars, Lifepoints etc. are some to look at. There are many, Ensure that you double check the background and genuinity of these sites. Some people are making $500-600 per month spending 2 hours a day.

💥 6. Invest in shares, mutual funds and Digital Gold
Time will never remain low like this. It will pass and there will highs. Make small investments. Consult professionals in your network.

You might be doing new things you have never done. Useful, and none-sense both. Everything has an audience. Put your videos on Youtube. Did you know that a video after 1 Million views can almost make you $5000? Again, before you rush to do it, do some research.
💥 8. Sell photos
Scroll through your phone if you have taken some great pictures. List them on sites like Imagesbazaar, Shutterstock, Flickr or your own photoblog. A contact of mine once sold a photo of windshield glass in rains for Rs. 12000 something. We all take that photo once.

💥 9. Offer virtual assistant services
A lot of business owners and entrepreneurs need help with grunt work like copy-paste, presentations, Internet research etc. If you feel you’re good at it, offer your help. VAs are making upto $2k per month easily.
To get noticed by buyers looking for virtual assistant –
Use groups where you’re active at.
Create a one pager great landing page talking about your services and payment terms
Create a Facebook or Instagram page
Start showing little samples or reviews of work done
